Another year, another South West Regional Meeting!
Over the weekend a number of local stations from across the South West came together to celebrate all things radio. This year, the meeting saw members from Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Torquay, Life Care Radio, Totnes and Truro come together. Of course, the team at Hospital Radio Plymouth was also in attendance.
This year we were lucky enough to be joined by former BBC Spotlight Presenter Justin Leigh, president of CHBN, and Darren Huish from the Hospital Broadcasting Association. Station manager Keith Jolley said it was a great afternoon.
“It was very useful discussing ideas and finding out how other stations have coped through the pandemic. It was also good to hear from Justin Leigh who started off at Truro Hospital Radio (Now CHBN) before going on to Radio Cornwall and then TV.”
On behalf of Hospital Radio Plymouth, we’d like to say a big thank you to all the stations who came down to Bircham House. We would also like to thank Justin Leigh and Darren Huish for taking the time to meet with us all.
