New digital radio stations for Plymouth
Soon radio will be getting a whole lot bigger in Plymouth and the surrounding area.More stations. More choice. More opportunities to broadcast – with what’s called small-scale DAB radio. Hospital Radio and SSDAB
With the success of a recent trial with Ofcom - Hospital Radio Plymouth moved frequencies to 107.3 fm across the hospital site. The new frequency allowed for more wards and areas of the hospital to receive the award winning service. The station broadcasts a mixture of music, news and information complemented with a team of volunteers who gather requests and interesting stories.
