Hospital Radio Plymouth

We are staffed entirely by volunteers and create and produce both live and recorded programmes . We can broadcast from pretty much anywhere and bring you Plymouth Argyle football matches live from Home Park direct to your hospital bedside on 87.7fm.

Through the Coronavirus pandemic our presenters have been setup at home broadcasting remotely so our studios which our new studio technology has allowed us to do very successfully.

We have been broadcasting for over 50 years and in the last couple of years from our relatively new home at Bircham House near Derriford Hospital. We have two amazing studios, The main studio, studio 1, is used for most of our live programmes, whereas the smaller studio 2 is for used for recording and creating items for broadcast.

We will continue to make specialist programs that will feature throughout the day. And with the fast moving world of social media, you can connect with us direct to our studios using your mobile device and the Trust’s free  NHS Wi-Fi.

If you would like to be a part of a diverse and talented group of people , if you have a passion in radio , love meeting people and most of all enjoy bringing a smile to someone’s face, then fill in our contact form and join us.
